About Stange & Co
At Stange & Co. our aim is to run real pubs, that means wholesome fresh, homemade food, top quality cask ales, decent wines and cosy modern rooms, all offered in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere, creating great places to meet and chat or perhaps spend a relaxing night or two...what a great pub is all about.

We’re a friendly and welcoming bunch at Stange who truly believe that you should love what you do. We encourage those who have a passion for the industry, and help to further careers and training where we can to allow those who wish to progress both within their own development and within the company. Many front of house staff have gone on to take on management roles, along with kitchen porters and junior chefs taking on training and stepping up into a more hands on role in the kitchen. We have also had general managers progressing into more senior operational roles within the whole company.

Our pubs are lively and friendly places, and that’s just how we like our team to be too. We want you to enjoy coming to work and have some fun whilst you’re there. Yes, sometimes shifts can be busy but our teams thrive on that, and all muck in together rising to the challenge to make sure each and every one of our customers has a great time.
Whether you’re looking for a part time position or interested in a career within the hospitality industry, if you’re a people person with bags of enthusiasm and a positive attitude, we’d love you to join our team. We’ll provide plenty of in-house training to help you develop the skills you’ll need, and we also offer external NVQ qualifications for anyone interested in progression.
Our chefs create their own menus and always welcome ideas from the whole of the team. All of our dishes are freshly created in-house using locally sourced produce where possible. This allows our chefs to inject individuality and passion into each and every dish creating an exciting seasonal menu. All of our pubs have recently refurbished commercial kitchens giving our chefs the tools they need to create the perfect dish.
Our front of house crew welcome a whole host of people through our doors every day from our regulars popping in for their daily pint through to visitors from afar celebrating a special occasion, greeting each and every one of them with a warm genuine smile. Our goal is to make sure that every person who visits us has an enjoyable and memorable time, and it’s the responsibility of our front of house crew to help make this happen.
Just as important as the customer facing crew members are our back of house team including our cleaners, housekeepers and maintenance. Without their continuous efforts keeping the pubs spic and span from top to bottom and keeping them running like a well oiled machine then we wouldn’t have such a fantastic collection of pubs for our front of house to showcase.
